About GoToThisGuy.com

Published at:

GoToThisGuy.com was officially launched in the end of 2020, but our story started several years ago.

We were born in 2001 and started by promoting real estate agents around the world to an audience of relocating expats. We believe that real estate agents need to have an online presence as their future client is searching for them. People want the local professional, and they want them providing the best services, because people do business with real people.

We started in 2010 as HousingAgent.com and then rebranded in 2020 to GoToThisGuy.com as we’re an online presence that is applicable not only to real estate agents but to many more professions – and clients can be either expats or local residents.

We have created a worldwide directory of local experts in the fields of healthcare, legal, veterinary, real estate, among several others. Here are our main directories:

-Accountants and Auditors

-Chiropractors and Physiotherapists

-Dentists and Hygienists

-General Practitioners and Doctors

-Hairstylists and Beauticians

-Notaries and Lawyers

-Psychologists and Therapists

-Real Estate Agents

-Teachers and Tutors

-Vets and Veterinarians

Our business is built by real people, for real people. We aim to help you find, compare and recommend good quality local professionals and businesses in our ever-expanding world. This is why we call it Go To This Guy*.

Our vision

Our goal is to make life easier for the local professionals, providing them with local and global exposure, no matter where they are in the world. Many professionals simply do not have the time to work on their website or social media platforms – we are happy to welcome you in our platform and facilitate the communication between you and potential clients looking for your services. We would love to hear from you!

“Guy” is used as a reference to the expression “I know a guy!” in the world of referrals and word-of-mouth. Often when we need a service to be performed someone around us will say “Oh, I know a guy that can help you!”. We promote both women and men in the fields of expertise we focus on. The “Go-To Guy” is not used as “man” but as a reference to this expression, meaning “person”.
